so far Salomon hikers have lasted the longest for me. 2 years and the stitches are intact and no wet feet yet.

I had a pair of Vasque Sundowners for years. Best boot I ever had, but the most recent reviews are not promising and not that same as they used to be.

I mostly do low ankle these days and can recommend Salomon. A lot of people like merrels but I am not a fan of how they fit on me.

I have some rocky's that I have had for a few years, they are super insulated so I don't wear them often

I usually wear Bates or magnum boots with the side zipper. Very comfortable. lightweight.

I usually get 1 year out of them. I like the zipper since I'm in and out of people house all day. Look like police/ military boots cost about 69.95, I usually get at rack room since all their shoes are BOGO 1/2 off
