Ice cream bread is probably one of the simplest breads you can make. You can use any type of ice cream you would like. Here is our butterfinger bread we made.
So I grabbed some ice cream and self rising flour
I dumped in a cup and a half of flour
and the pint of ice cream
I stirred it well, but it was still a little dry
so I added some milk
and got a much smoother consistency
I buttered up a bread pan
and poured in the batter and stuck it into the woodstove
45 minutes later, it was done
and good
It was Damn good.
It makes a great bread pudding as well
So I crumbled up the left over bread
and poured a jar of cherries over it, to make a quick bread pudding
and baked it for a half hour
some whip cream, it was good
amazing. simply amazing recipes. I don’t have a wood stove but imagine I am going to try these recipes in my oven and just experiment with the right temp to bake. thank you!
