One thing I was surprised about in the video was the wheel slowing down when you were turning on the lights, didn't know it would do that. Does the same thing happen if you hook it up to a battery bank with a voltage regulator? Have you been able to measure the amount of wattage generating?

Absolutely....

I believe this will happen with any generator/alternator when it goes from free-wheeling to "under load". The more load you put on it, the harder it works and it will slow the wheel. The ultimate load is a dead short which will almost stop the wheel.

My guess on the wattage is about 50 watts......
