So i looked under the nest today, they hatched

and here is where I really screwed up, she was walking along the fence calling for them, I noticed a little tuft of blonde hair on one of their heads so I walked over to take a pic

and while mom was off to the left they ran right through the fence straight into the mom who hatched last week

they are now attached to her and chilling with her and last weeks brrod on the far bank while mom is on the left calling for them, this seriously breaks my heart

I went back to check the nest and didn't take a pic but there were 7 eggs left and one little guy with his head poked out of an egg laying on his side, so I carefully removed him from the egg and laid him on the nest, I deided to give him an hour to chill, went back and picked him up and the other 7 eggs, I set them all under a heat lamp in the crate

I candled the 7 eggs and there was nothing so I disposed of them

Now I got to get little Billy to live, he has a tuft of blonde hair like the other other one I tried taking a pic of, so I named him Billy Idol

one of his legs is not working right

well, billy made it through the night, he is having an issue standing, just keeps flipping over, I am thinking a Niacin deficiency so I am going to pick some up today and keep working with him, I made him some shoes to help straighten out his toes

Little billy passed away, my wife is taking this very hard

I really want to find out what this thing is, he is twice the size of his nest mates, you can see one sitting down in fron of him and the head height of another in front of him behind the female.
