Well, just talked to the breeder, he has year old that he would let go for 600 for 3 and 400 apiece for this year's that won't be ready for a couple months. Wife still hasn't given me an answer.

Breeder just called me back, said he would sell the 3 one year old heifers for 500 apiece, talked with my wife about it this morning, she seems to be warming up to it.

should, especially if I finish the trail in the woods and let them go crazy out there, I figured the third I would sell.

Damn, breeder called yesterday and said he would let this years go for 300 apiece, think my wife would be mad if she comes home next saturday and there are three baby beef critters in the field?

A friends daughter had bought a heifer and steer from our breeder about 6 months after we did, they are just about two years old and want to sell them for 800 dollars apiece, which is a lot less than what I had into ours. (damn carrots)
I think I have the wife's initial approval to get them.
