How will you finish the walls in your daughter's cabin? Drywall? T&G?

Why do you opt for the pine ceiling? I love the look but it seems like it's a lot of extra work. With drywall on all sides you can texture and paint in one step.

for different texture and it actually goes on pretty fast, besides at 45 the thought of holding up 8 or 12 foot sheets of sheetrock over my head to screw down and then taping and mudding has lost it's luster over the years. It also makes cutting out for outlets and lights pretty simple.

we got some 2x8's delivered to raise the collar ties in the roof, tractor picked them up without a problem

the lift of pine not so much so we had to take it off by hand

I'm itching just looking at it

When you install it make sure you wear a tank top. It's supposed to help.
