so my daughter decided she wanted some more trim so I went and picked up some pine and got it stained up

And my chop saw finally gave up the ghost, RIP little Delta, you were good to me for almost 20 years

I trimmed out the doorway and added a piece of quarter round at the threashold

Trying to figure a decent way to trim out the stairwell with the flooring, figured some outside corner would look good

got the room cleaned out and added all the electrical covers

and wired up the smoke detectors

got the cable installed, I knew the installer and found out he raises pigs, so I bought one for a dollar a pound, pretty happy with the price

time to get the stairs stained

couldn't find my sander so I went and got a new one

got the stairs all taped off and sanded it down

she decided on a darker color to tie in with the ceiling fan

let that set up overnight and removed the tape, wasn't happy that some of the stain bled up the wall

So I grabbed some scraps that I had and added a trim piece on top of the stairwell

I wasn't happy with the way the triangle transition was looking

So I decided to change that up, much happier with the outcome

My wife and daughter went shopping for decor items yesterday, my brother, newsettler and I set her tv up and she stayed out there playing fallout 4 most of the night, I will take some pics when she has the room setup, time to get the actual workshop knocked out now.

I have no sympathy. The Biolet was offered -- the Biolet was denied.

Lol, she just came outside, i asked if she was ready to start hanging pictures, no she said she had to go to the bathroom. I mentioned the composting toilet, she said she was all set.
