Actually pretty close. Finish clearing out the pig pen and cows area so I can finish moving the fence line now that all the drainage is around the barn.

So we started ripping off the gable end of my dad's cabin
and started framing out and throwing up walls
we framed out the opening for the stairwell
and threw in a header
Framed out the windows on the end
Today we got to frame out the last wall and then start sheathing it

Man, you work so fast. I would still be stuck re-measuring after I cut something wrong.

that's why I have my buddy help me with most of my framing projects, it's what he does and he's fast, I don't want to spend all summer on this. Can't believe it's July already.

Does this guy also like to build fencing? Maybe high-tensile electric fence... in the mid-west?

so we framed out the last wall
I found several of these at the dump, so we are going to put one in the little frame at the top of the stairs
we sided underneath
and started knocking out the rest
I really wish I painted these before we hung them
we decided on going with two double hungs instead of the massive three unit, it's just slightly smaller but the gives more of an opening for escape purposes, so we added some framing
Got my Dad's cabin cleaned out so we should be cutting through the wall soon, now I need to figure out how to get smoke stains out of pine.
