Yeah, grinders are something I abuse way to much to buy cheap. I own a lot of HF hand tools, but am cautious on power tools

I had a coupon for the cheap 4 1/2 grinder at HF ($9.99) I got three of them.  I used one for a couple of years at the farm and burned it up after a couple of years of mid level use.  I opened one of the others and it's okay so far...I figure for 10 bucks they are a throw away.  I figure the two I have will be roached by the time we start cutting blocks and rebar with them this spring.

I went to HF yesterday. I got a drive way alarm and it doesn't work.  I got the variable speed Multi Tool and the alignment pins on the head are off.

I will most likely just return the driveway alarm (already have 2, just wanted a spare) and not sure if I will replace or return the multi tool...I had a great coupon for it...the thing that got me is the replacement blades are pretty expensive.
