I think earth is planning a composting toilet, we have plans for a outhouse at our cabin location, I think spotted has a outhouse

I'm going to try and copy the one Dick Strawbridge built on it's not easy being green

Yes, I am. Initially I was thinking of going with a commercial one, but have since grown convinced that won't be necessary. I'll research it further when I'm closer to moving onto the property. Still all consumed right now with the details of breaking ground.

 

And can we please not call it Humanure? Seriously, just eww!

Dry toilet ?  Sawdust toilet ? Lovable Loo ? 

Makes plenty of sense to us to be able to be one step closer to self reliance, and not waste more water by flushing it literally down the drain.

Super stoked about this, and even more stoked that my wife is actually the one reading the book.Laugh
