bj had given me ground cherries several years ago, we have them coming out of ears, they are very prolific

Nice, we would love to have a ton of them.  They have not sprouted yet so we are getting a bit worried.  It might be time to start them fresh and do some reading on what conditions they like to germinate.

I just threw them in the ground and they did fine, they do stay small for quite a while, but it seems overnight they explode and you'll have a 3 foot bush

Yeah, I had four plants last year and they produced roughly a million cherries!

KE, looks like you have some natural light coming in as well.

I dont have a great space in our house for this, so I have to sprout the seeds in our basement.  Im experimenting with taping one of those foil emergency blankets on the wall next to the seedlings to help reflect light and heat from the overhead lamps.  Im going to see if I get any better growth.

Yes, mine took a long time to sprout and they stayed tiny for what seemed like months.

But like KVR said, eventually they just explode into a giant plant
