I know we have quite a few Michiganders on here. Anyone with the inside scoop on the greater Grand Rapids area? I've got a job interview tomorrow out there and I am curious if anyone is homesteading out that way. 

Land seems reasonable and the economy appears to be doing much better on that side of the state. @porkchopsmmm , aren't you near GR?

Wow, that's crazy cheap. Well, we will see how tomorrow's interview goes and then perhaps the Mrs. and I be looking for a couple acres out that way before long. We are pretty sure that is where we'd like to end up eventually either way.
