how did the interview go?

I felt like it went pretty good actually. This was the preliminary interview with lower management personnel; we will see within a week or so if they call me back for a interview with the leadership. Time to sit back, relax, and not stress about it for now.

On a side note, I hadn't been to that side of the state in a year or so; I had almost forgot how much I like that over there. Lots of wide open space outside the city.

still doing IT work or utilizing your degree?

It would be IT within the healthcare field, so a step closer to my end goal.  I have an undergrad in healthcare management, and I am working on the political science degree, with hopes of getting involved in state/federal compliance in healthcare information systems at some point. 

Yup, that is most people's reaction. LOL Compliance today is very political and requires a firm understanding of laws and proposed legislative changes. Who knows, here is were I will probably end up:
