Well, my first project is already half complete (I will upload the pics as soon as I get a good enough signal on our internet) which has been to clear out the jungle around the perimeter of the house, the path to the "shower" and the toilet and the rainwater tank. I sort of got interrupted when our hand pump for the sink went down during maintenance, and had to spend a day in town getting a sump pump so we could have running water again.

Additionally, we have a family of WWOOFers (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms - http://www.wwoof.org/) coming in August, so on the rainy days I have been spending time cleaning and organizing the house to get it ready for their stay here.

We had another water pump malfunction down the hill at my sister's place, and I have been tinkering with that pump as well in my spare time trying to figure out how to get that up and running so they don't have to haul water from the creek for our garden. Good news is it has been pretty rainy these last few days since it broke so there hasn't been much need for it... so far.
