It's an interesting question.
I originally wanted turf tires so I wouldn't destroy my yard -- but so far I haven't damaged much. The turf tires are supposed to be much better in the snow, however. The R4's that I have, I believe, are steel belted so they don't puncture as easily. May be an option for you, K, but I know that would be expensive.
The Googles answered for you. Foam filled fronts would work just fine. Looks like popping the beads on front tires with a lot of loader work is common for any type of equipment.
