thanks for the input, i stopped in the dealer yesterday and talked with them. Seems pretty reasonable terms there. But.... does anyone have any experience with mahindra tractors?? looks like they offer 0% for 84 months and have pretty good reviews and higher capacity loaders at the same hp as kubota.... These seems to be the two major brand dealers closest to me. Thanks
I had been looking on craigslist with a 6k cash budget. But I think 0% new from the dealer is a better bet for me personally. Tractors seem to hold their value well and I am looking for some new hobbies but fixing tractors is not one of them.

With tractors a lot of the decision is based on dealer support. The closest to me are JD and Kubota. If Mahindra is close to you then I would definitely take a look at their offerings -- especially the MAX. They get good reviews and if you have a solid dealer near you I wouldn't hesitate to check out what they have.
I would be more inclined to go with a Mahindra over the Cabela's because I would be afraid Cabela's would start sourcing tractors from elsewhere (say a different manufacturer than TYM) and then how would support go for 2 different tractors?

yea, cabelas idea is dead. Its not that close. nor is tym. And their deal wasnt any better than the same kubota. My company currently uses the mechanic at the mahindra dealer for some of our hydraulic equipment fixes. So there is already some trust there. I just honestly had never heard of mahindra before yesterday. However they seem to top several review lists. I dont know if that is advertising dollars or legit. So I came to a community I trust more than a salesman. So I appreciate any and all feedback.

Mahindra is good. I think in the past they had some ergonomic challenges and their tractors weren't very refined -- that has changed in the last few years. I would have looked at their offerings if they were around here.

KVR -- check out this post below. We can shim our relief valves (and others can do this too) to boost up the lifting capacity of our tractors. It turns out not all tractors are shipped with the same hydraulic PSI for various reasons.

BXPanded sells a tester so you don't have to make your own. I will go halvsies with you if you want to buy it -- use it for your shimming, and then mail it to me.
