anyone catch the show last night? family cabin on public land was burned down by govt so they head off into the alaskan wilderness to rebuild their cabin

I'm watching it, but not sure if I really believe it after that farce of a show, The Legend of Mick Dodge. However, they do have some really jacked teeth. They remind me of the McPoyles from It's Always Sunny (especially the older daughter)

But I really doubt their ability to home school. The other question I have, is if they're so detached from civilization, how did they end up on the show??

I'm a conspiracy theorist when it comes to "reality" tv but I wonder if the original premise is their boat sinks forcing them to find a new place to live, and now with all the Bundy drama going on, they revised the story to house being burned and chased off public land??? Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm.
