Thanks @jonathco it was my wife's car so I was more worried about that then me. Lol. As far as th deer goes I put her down the best way I could without getting myself in trouble, couldn't stand it any more. On a good note roscoe and I are going to try an old recipe of his fathers. Marinade the ribs in a jerkey seasonings, dehydrate them and eat right off the bone.

I am doing rifle and bow this year. We will see what happens. Already went out with the youngin's with youth permits but didn't see anything.

308. I bought a youth/bantam Mossberg ATR bolt gun. Tiny, lightweight, kicks like a mule. Only ~$260 shipped. Kids can shoot it pretty well if I support one end on a shooting stick.
Like this, no scope.
