For those just learning how to bake here is another simple no knead bread recipe that only uses four ingredients; flour, salt, yeast and water. No knead bread is perfect for the novice because all you do is mix the ingredients, let it proof for more than twelve hours and bake.

  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • 1 cup warm water

1Gather your supplies

2Dump the ingredients in a mixing bowl

3Add 1 cup of warm water

4Stir it till it’s all clumped up

5Cover it with aluminum foil or saran wrap

6Let it set overnight.

7Dump it onto a floured cutting board

8Fold the dough over several times and form a loaf

9Set it into a bread pan

10Bake at 425 for 35-45 minutes

11It has a thin hard crust with a soft interior

This dough recipe works well in cast iron and we also use it for biscuits, bread-sticks and pizza dough. If you aren’t sure if your bread is finished baking you can use a thermometer probe to test your bread. The internal temperature should be 190 degrees when it is done. Have fun in the kitchen!
