Well just heard back from the butcher, the hanging weight is 540 and 432. So their live weights should have been around 900 and 720 pounds.

So we should be getting roughly 650 pounds back in meat.

I'm gonna need at least another freezer.

Will be interesting to do the price breakdown, I didn't keep meticulous records but do have a good idea of what we went through, 140 bales of hay, a bag of grain every 3 days on average would be pretty accurate I think, the carrots killed us over the last couple months, not sure if I am going to add that into the price, I don't think most people would go through 200 pounds a week.

Crap forgot to add in the 70 dollar kill fee per animal, 60 dollars for the hides and .70 cents per pound for processing.

That adds 1.10 per pound to each.
