Okay...I understand that...I like the Herford's a lot, they are gentle and the beef is good. I have been around them a lot...to me they are like a big puppy...they become like family....a mixed thing.

True, since I promised my wife no new animals this year I'm going to hunt around for different breeders in the state and go visit them, should be able to interact with a lot of them at all the fairs this summer.

I think my wife is officially on board with getting more cows, she has been eating the heck out of filets.

Yep, I made her filets last night for mother's day dinner and she commented again how we definately needed to raise some more, I replied if that's the case we should really get them this year, it takes 2 years to raise them and if we wait till next year they won't be ready for three years and we will run out way before then. She said she would think about it.
