Nope the freezer is going in the corner right by the door, where it is now we have a dead space on the wall since the door has to open, dust collector will go next to that, then lathe, mill and I will set up the tables in the corner where the freezer was.

Was debating putting up another I beam today going in the opposite direction along the wall, that way I would just chain host from the floor to the wall, move the hoist to the other I beam and then move the machines down the wall to their locations.

Downside to that is the I beams are one use pieces, they would only be used for moving the machines, debating just going and getting either the one or two ton foldable hoist from harbor freight. The I beam would cost me about 120 and the 1 ton is on sale right now for 139

with a 20 percent coupon the 2 ton would be about 190

Does the stand have casters? Does it have a perimeter lip that you can trim off? Is that just with your Z-axis maxed out?

No, not sure on the height, manual I downloaded says 36 inches then I noticed on their site it says 56 inches, so I called them and asked so they went and measured the machine and told me 46 inches! If it is 46 the stand is 27 which would give me 5 inches of clearance Clarence, not counting the lifting method.

Hmm, my best suggestion would be to mount it on the bench in an area with more clearance and then move the bench sideways to where you want it. We used to use Shopsmith casters because they've got a low profile and you can "toggle" them (effectively setting the tool back on its normal feet for operational use). However, weight may be a concern. What's the total weight?

So the machines shipped out yesterday, believe they will be here Monday, since they are bigger I needed to get some rearranging done. Was thinking of getting rid of the big table which I had mentioned before because of how much floor space it takes up.

But then it hit me

I can still pull it out if needed for working on larger pieces.
