That'll depend highly on the piece when I see it but I've got a few different ideas. Based on the shape it will likely be a side table. I'm thinking to highlight the wood I'll do a steel base. The real question is how I will shape this piece because it needs about .2 thickness for sufficient strength with minimal gusseting. Also, because I want to highlight the underside of the wood as well, I was toying with the idea of mounting a mirror on that middle shelf facing upwards. Disregard the resemblance to the child crossing guard. Also important to note, I will not be rounding the piece, this is just my laziness in modeling. I love the natural edges and want to highlight those.
