As it sits with no planing or shipping strapping, 16 pounds.

Heading to cnc today if you want I can see if it can be planed for Monday?

Finished thickness would be a hair over 8/4 I think.

If you could plane it that would be great! We have a shell mill in the shop but I don't think the envelope of our mill is large enough to do that in one fixture.

Good guess KVR. That is a company which someone who works for me helped to build.

Sorry about not getting the burl piece out, has been a busy couple weeks with a concrete pour and my Mother visiting.

I'll find out were things are at and try to post this weekend.

Yes, they are still in business out of Vancouver.

OK so the burl piece was shelved since the programmer wanted to use a different collet and bit for it. They both are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. We are still in our testing and maintenance cycle so we are moving rather slowly. The small chunk is done on one side, it turned out well so I'm hoping we can do the same for your piece.

The really small piece I'm hoping to turn this week into a rectangular bowl. Or I might put it onto the CNC and try making the bowl with it.

I leave the end of this week to Asia and I am back into Central / South America on the 1st. If you trust me enough with a address to ship too I'll leave it with the programmer to ship once it is done. Could be done before I leave, I might be gone for around 2-3 months.
