just checked the drainage ditch, one good thing about all the rain we got last night was I was able to see if the yard was draining, that looks like run off from the bark mulch to me

Awesome. I need to get some drainage out my way, too.

Do you have a lot of elevation on your land leading the water away? My place is completely flat.

we have probably a 4-6 foot drop from the house to the back of the field, you should dig a pond and divert everything into there

I am all over the pond idea but it is a low priority right now. I keep on trying to convince our excavator who is doing our septic mound system to source the 200 yards of sand from our land by digging a big pond. He is not into that idea whatsoever.

so I called the operator back yesterday, he waited till the afternoon when everything was drying out and came back and sprayed

it's not suppose to rain the next several days, so we should be good

I grabbed my compressor and finish nailer/stapler and went to town

I started by tacking it onto my dads deck to keep the birds from coming out from under there

and tacked the fence onto the top to hang

I just have to tack on a few areas and she will be all done

the chicken was not happy

going to pick up a post hole digger today for the weekend and I'm going to fence in the back field this weekend so the pigs can run free, that's going to be a major project

That looks awesome. I can't wait to see the pig run area.

Can you break down the cost for the fencing? While I have seen that type before, and I know you have used it, I can only find cedar split rails around here -- nothing with round pegs.
