Now that I look closer...Are those Zip Ties...LOL...gonna suck when you really need to use that ladder...

Surprised you didn't stack up some Concrete Blocks too...lol

Zip ties or Cheap Electrical Tape for me.  I get most of my zip ties at HF...lol

bringing tree's down is no doubt a major task around the homestead huh.  Its the one thing I did not do too much of before buying this piece of land.  SInce then I've cleared ALLMOST every tree with the exceptations of a few big ones that the excavator pushed over (big boy excavator) when clearing lot.  Gravel saw a few that are on my list.

Not such a big deal when there is nothing to break around the tree..but gets tricky/expensive if there is.  I kind of wish I would have cleared more behind the house before house was here. 

There is a reason most people build there house in a field lol.  Nice job dropping it...i'd like to find some alternative to the steal cable .. I like heavy duty ropes.

There are some trees that I would not consider cutting down on my own.  When we had our site work done they pushed over the 60+ footers with a 40 ton excavator...like it was no big deal. 

Gotta respect the chainsaw and the tree that can crush you to death.

thanks speed, it's getting there, need to build the road into the woods this year and I think I might be done

seems we have an escape puppy, so I spent yesterday building another fence, sorry GR, no cement blocks in this one either
