Nice K! That thing looks about the size/weight of my 8N. From this link, http://www.tractorda.....3QFSN5PFMQ, it looks like it could have 4x4 and power steering. Does yours have that?

What swayed you over the 755? It is bigger and certainly has more HP. Good score!

it does, basically what you said, bigger and more horsepower, we will utilize it during the winter pushing back snow banks which we normally pay 500 dollars a winter for, it will pay for itself in a short time

well it's going to be a little longer, I went and looked at it, too big, the thing won't fit in the barn, need to keep looking, I need to find something smaller, like this

I didn't want to mention it, but the 750 is the perfect size, I think. It has 4x4, power steering, is smaller than an 8N, and has a hydrostatic transmission. The 950 you were going to go with I believe was 2WD, didn't have power steering, and has a geared transmission.

Go hydrostatic, 4x4, and power steering and you can't go wrong. Search terms could be Kubota, Yanmar (which makes the JD tractors), Iseki, Bolens, Massey, etc. That lawn tractor you posted is too small. Go with something like the 1st picture you posted above the lawn tractor. One caution -- you probably want turf tires. Ag tires will tear up your yard something fierce and I don't think you will need the traction. This is a big deal -- the tires are expensive to replace. If buying from a dealer they would probably swap the tires out for you.

I found this near me... but no funds for such a purchase.
