Funny you should ask... It has been a crazy 48 hours. In a last minute turn of events (as of this morning), we are no longer moving to Grand Rapids. After taking the job in GR, I was contacted by a recruiter with a large pharmaceutical company right here in Flint and offered an amazing IT job (better pay, better hours, less stress). With an accepted offer on our house down here in Hartland, it would appear we will be moving closer to Flint shortly. Not what I had in mind originally, but this is going to be a great job opportunity.

Also, there is a lot of cheap land for sale around the greater Flint area... Large scale urban farm anyone?

LOL, thanks KVR.  It's been a wild ride the last few days with all of this going on. I won't deny that I am a little bummed about not moving to the west side, but when this other offer came in, it was a no-brainer for us.
