That is a beautiful plate of deliciousness! I haven't picked anything as of yet. Might go see if any ramps are peeking through.
Today we got the cows moved out of the mud and into the bigger fields behind the house. We picked up a roll of hay on the back of the tractor, opened the gates and they chased the hay all the way into the new field. The calves were excited about all that mud free area and went bonkers. Had to be careful out there to keep from getting trampled! I put my hand out to scratch one of the calves and she picked me up with her nose and gave me a shove! Decided I'd go work outside the fence for the day after that. I finally got to use the tractor today. I hadn't driven it since we bought it. Was easy... didn't realize it had power steering. Lol . Then this eve I planted a few short rows of carrots just as an excuse to stay outside longer... twas a pretty good day...
oh my, mayo recipe?
1tsp cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
Blend and slowly drizzle in oil until you get the consistency that you want.
The most important thing is that all of the ingredients need to be at room temp.
You can add some mustard or pepper.
Different oils will give different flavors. Extra Virgin olive oil is not the best. It tends to seperate and I can't remember why!
