oh my, mayo recipe?

1tsp cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
2 egg yolks
1 whole egg
Blend and slowly drizzle in oil until you get the consistency that you want.
The most important thing is that all of the ingredients need to be at room temp.
You can add some mustard or pepper.
Different oils will give different flavors. Extra Virgin olive oil is not the best. It tends to seperate and I can't remember why!

This weekend I planted 7 trees into the new swales.  2 apples, 2 plums, 2 pawpaws and a 2-in-1 cherry.

I put up the new fence around the food forest, layered cardboard around the fenceline, soaked it and mulched it with wood chips from the tree that fell on my roof this winter.  I got an electric fence, so I had to rent a driver to get the ground rods in.  had to climb up onto an a-frame ladder hauling up a 50 lb jackhammer to do it.  I still dont know how I didnt fall off at least once.

KVR, that solar charger is working great...I got some first hand experience, unfortunately.  I thought one of the posts was leaning a bit and went to straighten it out...ZAP!  it works!

Also planted potatoes into the patch and put some into the swales as well.  I have some hardy kiwis heeled in until I get their trellis built.  Still waiting for the Seaberries, Honeyberries, Goumis and Siberian Pea shrubs to get delivered.

Yeah, found one over the winter at a reasonable price and ordered it up.

Oh, Im sure it will be a good 2 or 3 more times before I get the message...

also, my son is trying to talk me into getting shocked in front of him.  He wants to see if you can really see someone's bones when they get shocked like on his cartoons.

nice kid, huh?
