I didn't do anything homesteading related, but I did cut my yard, and pull the thermostat out of my van. Seems to be idling at normal temp now (finally). Going for a test drive in a few minutes to test it out.

I'm getting ready to head to Maryland for the sheep and wool festival to teach kids!

it is my yearly mini vacation.

Well, this wasn't today but a neighbor came by and tilled up an old garden for us. Then we planted many varieties of pumpkins, corn, and bean bushes. The kids planted lima beans, tomatoes, and cucumbers (their picks). We'll see what survives.

I also closed off a utility room in our basement. I will use it as a mini-shop and keep most of my tools down there instead of clogging up the garage.

I still need to set up some shelving and work benches.

I hate hanging doors.
