“Danger is stalking the city. Like it or not, its a fact… life in urban areas is about to radically change due to developments most people are not aware of. Find out what the issues are and what YOU can do to not only survive but also thrive.
Far from a “survivalist” film, Urban Danger takes a common-sense look at our roots, finding practical solutions to problems we face today. You will meet many people from all walks of life who show you the common-sense preparations they are making for difficult times ahead. And in the process, they have found a superior quality of life. They have found what “real living” is all about.”
I came across the film Urban Danger a couple years ago and found it quite fascinating; it’s not your normal doom and gloom production that is trying to sell fear. Most programs of this type seem to focus on a small fringe of the preparedness movement instead of the average prepper; your doctor, your accountant, your neighbor.
The documentary shows how people from all different walks of life are trying to prepare for uncertain times, including Congressman Roscoe Bartlett.

. . .so there are a number of events that could create a situation in our cities where civil unrest could be a very high probability. And I think that those who can, and those who understand need to take advantage of the opportunity. . .to move their families out of the city. . . . It’s just plain fun when you’re looking at the challenge of what do I have to do so that I’m independent of the system – Rep. Bartlett
