Well the boys are scheduled for Jan 13th, now it's time to get a new trailer, been looking at these 4, which one would you get?

#'s 1 and 3 are cool. Would #1 be big enough for your driving me out 4 calves? That is the most important thing!

yes, but the only issue I have with one is no side door, these boys love carrots so much (we go through 200 pounds a week) that my thought for loading them is to just carry a bag of carrots into the trailer and popping out the side door, marco is cool but polo is still skittish, really don't want to lose a kneecap trying to go out the backdoor.

Three would be best for hauling out to your place I would imagine. Would be a great road trip with the wife next summer. Not promising anything.

but I did just hear back from the breeder, prices have gone up, not much but he is now asking 400 apiece, just a heads up.

he did ask if you were interested in steer or heifers, he says he has four one year old heifers he would let go for that price, that is a great deal, basically get 6 months free feed for each.

I think my wife is in for the road trip, I just mentioned it to her and she didn't say no, she said why? That's a good sign in my experience.
