finished up the trim and windows, basically the outside is done at this point except for a little painting and staining

it ties in well with dad's

need to figure out a door for the workshop

think I'm going to build a slider like we did with the barn but split it so that it opens to each side

Ouch. It is amazing how much stuff adds up. It's going to be a great structure, though.

What's the total square footage? And what was the majority of the materials?

For the groundwork, drainage, and pad building, was this what was paid to someone with a backhoe or for materials? I realized that the thread started after this phase was completed.

Looking great!

800 square feet with both levels

that was paying someone, we had some frost issues with the barn this year so we had to address that and remove a crap load of heavy clay soil and replaced with exploded ledge

thanks, it's getting there, think I might putter with setting up the workshop this weekend

Nice! Looks like you regraded everything. Didn't see the foam go down, did you lay it in as an umbrella around the base of the foundations to help with frost heaving?

Sounds like $3200 well spent.

we didn't end up putting down the foam, with the drainage and grading now there shouldn't be anymore issues with the frost
