gw99 -- what were you doing to lose that much weight? I have lost 20 so far, but can't break the 200 barrier. I am going to try ramping up my cardio but am open to any suggestions.

Pork, I listed my diet on page 1 or 2 of the thread. Mainly, chicken, tuna, steak ..... lots of salads.

most importantly, NOTHING ELSE.

For the first week or two it's tough. No energy. Even the easiest tasks (walking up a flight of stairs) can wear you out. It's tough.

After about the 3-4 week mark, your stomach shrinks and you really are not hungry. I've gone nearly 24 hours without eating, several days in a row. Maybe 1 salad or 1 piece of chicken that day.

today for instance, I just made some chicken salad. i was pretty hungry having worked outside for 6 hours this morning. I ate 4 bites and I was full. I wanted to eat more, but couldn't.

I get plenty of exercise with my job. I work outside and walk a lot. But haven't done any type of working out.

Over the next couple of weeks I will add some sit ups to try to tighten my soft mid-section.

PS - I haven't had any type of food that is not listed above in 5-6 weeks. No cheat days, no nibbles of anything. Not a single grain of sugar in that time and I can tell you this, I feel great.

Any Q's let me know.

but basically, only chicken, steak and fish. some salads with Mayo.

gw99 -- can you eat as much as you want or do you restrict how much you take in?

So my buddy dropped another ~9 lbs in one week. He is killing me. So I am at a crossroads here -- focus on gw99's diet of high protein, vegetables, no carbs OR just straight up juice it for the next 3 weeks.

Any suggestions? KVR -- can you drink as much juice as you want or should you be restricting yourself?

you can drink as much VEGETABLE juice, fruit juice you only want to be about 1/5th to 1/6th of the juice you consume, some people will have all fruit in the am, then veg rest of day, some people will just do their ratios throughout the day

Hoe did your buddy drop nine pounds in a week? I think he's sandbagging you bro

I don't even plan on drinking fruit juice -- just V8. Not sure if that is healthy or not.

I saw him last night and he is looking thin. His diet is very thin, low cal, no carbs, and he is exercising for nearly 3 hours a day 6 days a week.
