What happens when you get Joel Salatin on JRE (The Joe Rogan Experience). Pure awesomeness.
You may know Salatin for his books Folks, This Ain’t Normal: A Farmer’s Advice for Happier Hens, Healthier People, and a Better World, The Sheer Ecstasy of Being a Lunatic Farmer, and Everything I Want To Do Is Illegal: War Stories From the Local Food Front.
Salatin raises livestock using holistic management methods of animal husbandry, free of potentially harmful chemicals, on his Polyface Farm in Swoope, Virginia, in the Shenandoah Valley. Meat from the farm is sold by direct-marketing to consumers and restaurants.
Joe Rogan is a comedian, actor and commentator for the UFC. He is a big proponent for a simpler way of life and most people would be surprised that he gardens, raises chickens, hunts for his own meat, is against gmo’s and tries to raise awareness of them.
I love it when my two favorite worlds collide.
Word of warning, this isn’t your grandmothers podcast, expect some off color language.
