Nope, never done any BJJ, closest I've come to BJJ is doing a little sambo stuff several years ago. I'm hoping to drop around 60-70 lbs and I'll be happy.

I started at 222 and am down to 210. I need to keep hitting it hard -- I want to be under 200 by the end of February.

okay, either my scale is broken or I have a disease, hopped on it and it said 256.6, I even moved it around to 3 different places on the floor to make sure it wasn't a level issue

I think so too. I've wanted to get in a BJJ class for years, but time & work have always been an issue. I finally got my schedule the way I want it, so I'm jumping in. I was stoked when I got up this afternoon, UPS had dropped off my gi. I tried it on, and it's gonna need some alterations, but with it here I have no excuse now, I've got to put it to use. I'm still waiting on my DDP Yoga dvd's, gonna incorporate that into my weightloss plan, along with some kettlebell drills. I tried DDP's YRG yoga several years ago, and it works, but I lost the dvd's so I ordered his new stuff. Supposed to be an improvement over the YRG stuff, so we'll see.

he has a different set out? I will have to check it out

Also, I highly recommend washing your gi yourself, after explaining several times to my wife that the gi has to be air dried and not thrown in the dryer, well she forgot, and this is my representation of how I looked at class
