I twisted my ankle pretty bad just before Thanksgiving and the lack of mobility coupled with the festive food from the holidays allowed me to gained quite a few unwanted pounds.
I quit eating carbs just before Xmas and have already noticed a difference in how my clothes fit.
I plan to stay on this diet until the end of Feb or until I lose 40 pounds. (which should be the end of Feb)
Have had great success with this before, but it takes LOTS of will-power.
Breakfast = 2-4 eggs and non-sweet tea
snack?? salad with mayo
Lunch = chicken or tuna - no bread or anything else
snack? salad with mayo
dinner = chicken or steak
will melt at least 1 pound per day off of you. No working out. No nothing other than eating what I listed above and NOTHING else.
If you eat a lot of sugar, the first few days are tough. People do not understand how addicted we've become to sugar.
After a week or so, all of the chemicals from the food you ate before are just leaving your body and you start getting the hang of your new diet.
After about 2-3 weeks in, your appetite just kind of goes away. You eat much less and the weight loss is going well.
I started I was at 223 pounds. haven't weighed myself yet, as I know it might discourage me. but My pants fit a lot better. Try not to look at the scale for the first few weeks. As sometimes the increase in meat in your diet will cause you to gain muscle.
and for the record. I have done this in the past, bvr68 had a heart attack a couple years a go, and that was my motivation to show him what a lifestyle change could do, unfortunately, I lost focus, well now, it's about myself, I am the same age he was when he had a heart attack, last time I did it for 30 days and lost 42 pounds, let's rock
